~ so today was a pretty good day... my 3 hours of class got canceled, had an extra hour of economies internationales (actually a good thing =), had a great dinner with the french fam, and i got to talk to a best friend last night. and tomorrow = SHOE SHOPPING!!! and can i just say that i ate goose liver pate today. that's right...
~so i'm going to do a little entry about dublin. don't worry, not one like my london one =). i hope i will never forget the amazing times we had this weekend. running to our train after class. seeing taylor for the first time since new years. making fun of her for new years. drinking my first guiness. seeing 2 pages of the book of kells. forcing down my second guiness. freezing my butt off on the top of an open bus tour. passing all those tourists shops just to not buy enough souvenirs. learning about the irish fight for independence. ryan's mulled wine. getting irish drinking socks. getting lucky with irish drinking socks. eating burdock's fish and chips. meeting an elijah woods look alike. attempting to catch an irish accent. bagels. lots of bagels. irish boys named joe. and patty. nice italian irish women who give us directions. getting cozy with katie on couch cushions. harry potter obsessions. learning gaelic. irish clubs. that are open til flights the next morning. paris beauvais airport. asking ppl where wine country is by mistake. kildermain gaol. crazy singing bus tourguides. thinking we'd have enough time to do everything. never having enough time to do everything. the adorable church we found for mass. our fav "tart with a cart" statue. taylor's amazing roomies. fabulously dressed irish business men. the way we felt all weekend.
~ the trip back wasn't as amazing as it could have been. poor pat. i hope he feels better soon... i absolutely adore those two, and the weekend was amazing. i wish i had enough time to go back...
