hey yall
im just gonna go ahead and post a thingy on what happened to me while i was at cheerleading camp so i dont have to keep repeating my self over and over again...this is how it goes...
..we were stuntin and i was basing Hillary (it was soooo NOT her fault either lol) she cradled and when she came down i was in a bad spot and her elbow slammed into my eye, left temple and the left side of my head and part of my nose. I blacked out for a minute or so but then i came back. When i opened my eyes i couldnt see outta my left eye and the coach that was helping us stunt came over and walked to to get some ice and sit down and talk to the UNC Sports Medicin trainer guy. He made me answer ?'s like what I had to breakfast, lunch, what day it was and he would tell me 4 numbers and i would have to repeat them back to him. I couldnt cause everything he said..as soon as he said it i forgot completly what he said. It sucked cause i felt retarted. I stayed at camp for another 45 minutes or so and he made me do some walkin test and i couldnt walk right cause i would always stumble around when i walked on my left foot. He then decided that i needed to go to the Emergency Room. I left and I got there at 3:30 and didnt get out until 11:45 that night. I talked to this one doctor and he did pretty much the same thing the sports medicin guy did. I talked to some other doctor and she said I needed a cat scan. I had 3 cat scans. One for a fractured bone around my eye, one for if i was possibly bleeding under my skin or on the brain and i forgot what the other one was for. all my tests came out negitive so all thats good. I had a full eye exam and when i did it my vision was 20 in my right eye and 2100 in my left eye. Yeah thats freakin HORRIBLE! I lost part of my memory and i still havent gotten it all back yet. :-\ So the doctors told me I had a concussion and and memory loss and the blow to my head messed up my vision in my left eye pretty bad. My head still hurts on and off and my eye is still messed up and i dont have all my memory back yet. So if im talkin to ya and i start askin dumb ?'s just remember all this lol.
