First impressions: This semester (living-wise) is going to suck. Roommate's nice enough, but floor seems like a bunch of douches. I didn't miss this.

We knew it was going to be hard after living in an apartment, but don't be too discouraged yet. Everyone is a bit wound up getting back to school. Hopefully, after classes start, things will calm down. Thankfully, your roommate is nice and friendly. That will help a lot.

At least "nice enough" is better than your first roommate, right?

My first roommate wasn't a bad guy, we just never really talked to one another. It was just the way we operated, it didn't (I think) have anything to do with "bad blood."

I totally sympathize--for all the adventure and experience that college life brings, having to deal with sub-humans on a regular basis was the worst. Even if it was just walking by them in the halls.

Are you back in college dorms? Phew, that's a world I'm glad to leave behind.

If the floor stinks, at least try and meet some cool people to hang out with. Then you can go hang out at their houses/dorms/apartments.
