Saturday night Phil and I decided to spend a nice evening at Silver Lake before we went on the dunes Sunday.
We packed up and checked into our hotel room just in time to open the curtains and watch the sun go down over the sand dunes and the lake. Our room was so cute! It had a cute little green shower with a little spot to sit in it....it's hard to explain but it worked perfect for us. We walked to the restaurant and ate dinner, then came back and relaxed in our romantic little green hotel room...I'm in love with it, and he checked and they have a special part of the hotel just for couples and he said we'll definately have to check it out. For a country boy he certainly gets mushy sometimes.
Sunday-My new fourwheeler is fun, but I left at least half of each ass cheek out in the sand somewhere. I made it up test hill on the first try but I was really scared to go back down. I did alright most of the time...one time I was by myself and got stuck in the directional high dunes and a guy offered to help me but I did it all myself. I'm pretty proud of myself, actually. I have a little sunburn on my right arm from when Phil and I were holding hands and we both fell asleep in our chairs on the trailer so I look like a dork.
Being this sore and having a dorky sunburn are worth every moment of this weekend.
