LET THE FOLLY BEGIN!!!
Hi There, let us introduce ourselves. We are two mad music fans and importantly on this occasion mad fans of FOB. We are embarking on a mad tour across Australia to see every Fall out boy concert played in February '09.
What's the point? Simple, we love these guys, they are young, successful, sound brilliant and inspire us to live our dreams. " They're only one of about a gajillion bands who do that for people" - I hear you say. Well, you may be right. the fact is Fall out boy do it for us and we want to pay homage to them. We stopped asking what it was about them that made us so happy a long time ago. The fact is they do and we're grateful for that
We'd love for anyone who likes live music or understands the impact music can have on who you are (and why you feel like you are here) to join us. So add us as a friend we'll be posting blogs, photos and live footage for you all to see. For those who will not get a chance to see these guys live i'm sorry, but we'll be doing our utmost to give you a taste (provided our small and somewhat amateur equipment doesn't let us down phenomenally). For those of you who will or have seen them LUCKY YOU! keep up the good work. these guys do it for you.
We've been hard at work planning this trip and have decided to name the tour. With a play on words to the bands album 'Folie a deux' we have come up with an Aussiefied (yes that's a real word) version called "The FOLLY OF TWO tour". As you would all know folie a deux is a psychiatric term for the shared madness of two. When two already neurotic people get together things get a little bit more crazy. That tends to happen when we're around each other. Let's face it, to some - many actually; two grown women dropping everything to travel the country for a band seems quite irregular and groupie - ish, it probably is. You know what? Who gives a toss? We're in it for fun and the love of music. Life is to short to wonder! So the FOLLY OF TWO begins.
