Last Request: Ian/Marshall
Ah Ha! Finally I'm done! WOOO!! Ugh, I've been trying to get my ass in gear and finish this damn thing up, and I finally did. I haven't been putting it off per say, I've just been taking my sweet ass time with it. I drew like one line per day lol. Well anyway I decided to finish it all tonight. This was the last request I got, from the AMAZING and my favourite writer (besides Dani of course lol) miserylovedme who wanted a drawing of her new obsession Cab slash staring Ian and Marshall. The only thing I really know about The Cab is from their work with Patrick lol, because I follow that kid around like a hawk. But I absolutely LOVE "One Of Those Nights" and I've been to their myspace and heard a couple other songs, and they're really awsome. But I don't really know anything about the guys personally, so I was a bit ambivalent of my abilities to draw the pairing well. But of course, I am such a huge fan of miserylovedme and I'm always so flattered and stoked that she'd even want something done by me, that I could never deny her. So I tried my best. She was even nice enough to provide me with some lovely pictures.
There was no specific scene, but apparently Marshall's the catcher lol, so I thought of a cute straddling scenario. Or pre dry hump if you will XD But she did want some particular clothes, like Ian wearing a waistcoat (which I had no idea what that was, I had to look it up lol) and Marshall in a vest. I tried to make it more colourful because even though I love black and white it gets kind of boring and repetitive. I also had to make my own colours since I only got a 12 pack of the prismacolours. Yes I took another crack at the prismacolour pencil crayons. I think I'm getting a little better, maybe lol. I really like how the jeans turned out, and Marshall's ass ;) The position and anatomy I was really happy with, and it looked a lot better before I coloured it and then 'fixed' it up in Gimp. I ruin everything. I hope it doesn't look too messy and shitty. I'm quite happy with it, considering this is my first time drawing these guys. I tried to get the likeness a little bit while trying not to overdo it. Ian's face is kinda fucked up, and his fro is not quite as fro-ish as it should be lol. Well I really really hope you still like it anyway :)
