The Apocalypse Files
So here's the other drawing for miserylovedme's story Case No.002: By The Last Light. It's actually a series she's doing and this is just the first chapter of it. If you haven't read it yet (shame on you!) it's about the guys being superheroes. And everyone that knows me knows I LOVE superheroes/comic books/cartoons/anything of the sort. Ya I'm a big nerd, whatever. So I am super stoked about this new series she's doing! It's already friggen amazing. I got this picture in my head while I was reading it so I just had to do this drawing for it. I wanted kind of like a Justice League feel, with them all standing around and posing.
From left to right it's Bob and Frank, Pete, Gabe, Patrick, Gerard, and Mikey. And here are all their powers:
Gabe: telekinesis. moves things with his mind.
Patrick: can read minds, thoughts, dreams even before they take place. can force the weight of everything he hears into other peoples heads and drive them insane.
Pete: can harness energy
Gerard: fire starter. they're even more powerful when he goes into a trance.
Mikey: slightly psychic. can teleport.
Bob: bends and controls sound and light
Frank doesn't have any powers. He's just a human and pretty much, as Sarah put it, the 'damsel in distress' lol.
I only did a couple of them showing off their powers cause I really didn't know how to show the others. I've never drawn any of the other guys besides Pete and Patrick so I was a little ambivalent to how it would turn out lol. But I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed. I know they don't really look like the real guys but my drawings never do. This was epic for me, I'm very lazy and I usually do the least work possible lol. But the story was just too good so I really wanted to do something that could go along with it. But I mean, I didn't do nearly as much work as Sarah did. Fuckin look at that! How amazing is she, seriously. She was sick and she STILL did this incredible colouring job. Her work really brings my drawings to life and makes them soooo much better. Go tell her how amazing she is now. Go. DO IT!
