Promise
Ok here's my second entry to the Christmas challenge over at harry_and_ron. And I like this one sooo much better! I really wanted to do a better drawing for it than my last one but I couldn't really think of an idea, then this just kinda came to mind. I've always found the idea of marriage kind of pointless and antiquated because I don't think it makes you love the person any more, it's really just a legal thing to me (jeez I'm really bitter, huh? lol). And cause it's just been made out to be such a joke now, what with the whole celebrity thing and how 2/3 marriages, or something like that, end in divorce. I don't have anything against other people doing it, it's just a personal thing. But I do like the idea of a promise ring. I think it's really sweet and kind of a way show your commitment to each other without the whole drawn out marriage process. So I thought of how adorable it'd be if Ron gave one to Harry for Christmas, and Harry totally didn't expect it and just freaks out and jumps across the couch into Ron's arms squeeing uncontrollably lol. Awwww! You can think of it as Ron proposing to Harry if you want, if that makes it more special, but I like to think of it as a promise ring kind of thing.
