Drood=awesome. even the second time around :)
my cast was incredible and the whole experience was awesome. i'm gonna miss it so much. as ridiculous as this show is, it holds a very, very special place in my heart. it was the last big show i did in high school and the first big show i did in college. a random show to fall into those categories, but cool none-the-less. it was weird watching the final bows. as i watched the chairman take his bow, i was like, "wow, last time 'the chairman' was taking his final bow after the last performance, i was in the booth practically in tears and it was paul's last bow at NRHS." it was kinda surreal.
the cast party was, uh, interesting? fun, but a bit weird/random. it's now 4:45am and i got home about 20 minutes ago.
in related news, after three months i have finally changed the background picture on my computer. it was the cradle cast at the airport before scotland and i loved it. but i had wanted to change it for a while, do something more college-related/neutral, and today, i did it! brian (our director) got the cast those fake glasses/noses things and they all wore them and did their poses at the end of the opening number. it's an awesome picture, and my new background. and i love it. and i love all my theatre people at all my schools, haha.
