Seeing Laurel in "The Mouse That Roared" at Hami with Eve, Sasha and Sammy made me pretty happy. Seeing "The Mouse That Roared" at Hami with Eve, Sasha and Sammy after slapping a paper fish on various victims' backs and exclaiming a phrase in French which I will never remember but translates into "April Fish!" made me very happy. Straight from Ireland to you! _excalibur April 5 2004, 05:20:38 UTC
I am here, and it is amazing. internet is scarce, i have just found it at my sister's college, so don't be expecting much internet-related hijinx from me.

anyway, I am very much enjoying the goings-on here, and have been to several pubs, which all had soccer on the tv, guiness in the mugs, and live irish music playing with much flute. All the buildings are so beautiful and old and have so much history that i begin to wonder why i can live in a city (l.a.) with so little culture or architecture and not feel contempt for it. the food is also delicious, and the waffles are actually pancakes (i swear it, i asked for waffles, and got pancakes, very delicious pancakes). French fries are chips, and potato chips are crisps. Insanity! I've been in Dublin (the city) for the first part of the week, and will be leaving for the country (my aunt is flying in from N.Y. to be with us, she really loves Ireland). hey look this keyboard has the euro symbol €.€€€€€€€€€€!!!!!!!

I should stop babbling on about what I'm doing, and I will ask you what you are doing, the Rebecca. I miss you and hope you are enjoying your break. post back and tell me what's happening.

P.S. I have found you a present, so stop crying.

Love,
The nick

and so i went to t eh Guinness Factory. _excalibur April 5 2004, 09:55:22 UTC
I went, it was glorious, and i found the internet again. It was basically a fake part of the real factory, where they show you how it's made and you see mass quantities of barley &hops. It was a very, very fun time. There was this bar at the top with views of the whole city, and free guinness. The drinking age here is 18, but I tasted the guinness stout anyway, because it is my duty as I am in a country where they believe all ales can be cured with drinking. don't fret, i didn't have too much.

I'm afraid i'm not taking enough pictures, my sister's college is utterly beautiful. I've been freaking out this whole time about my not taking pictures.

Please reply my lassy Rebecca, and tell me of your spring break experience, or i'll be very pooooooorrrrrr.

Love,
Sir Nicholas Arthur Weiss III, who is working on his Irish accent.

What college is your sister's college that is utterly beautiful? And don't worry about not taking enough pictures. Just enjoy your time there. Actually, worry a little :). I've responded in the form of an update!

nick is...

nick is a sandwich
all covered in snow
on top of a lonesome mountain
in a country which has been gone long past

nick is a tambourine
following a gypsie woman
and her booty
to every corner of the earth.

nick is the quiet dwarf
who its atop a stone and ponders
but not too hard
because the world spins too quickly around his eyes.
