Crash Love
I figured everyone else has done one, I might as well too although they won't have that much detail as some. I'm a rather simple kinda gal.
My thoughts on Crash Love:
1. Torch Song - by far my most favorite song off the album. I think it was a perfect way to start off the cd and the way Davey's voice is so smooth yet biting... gives me pleasant shivers. "I'd tear out my eyes for you, my dear" Is said with a sweet malicious undertone that makes you wonder what he was thinking while writing/singing it. Needless to say, Davey's voice holds so much emotion you either want to comfort or shy away in fear.
2. Beautiful Thieves - I personally like this track and don't really see why people are giving it so much crap. The guitar solo in the beginning is simple yet powerful, Davey's vocals have a good range, and the lyrics are well written. Personally, I go more for the sound than lyrics sometimes - let's face it, sometimes Davey is hard to understand XD - and this is a song I can definately see myself bouncing around to in my car.
3. End Transmission - Definately another one of my favorites for simple reasons; awesome production, kick ass lyrics, and a catchy tune =D and that nice "uhhh" in the beginning... um, YES PLZ!
4. Too Shy To Scream - another song people are giving them shit for. Honestly, this song is fucking amazing! It's so bouncy yet the lyrics are biting it reminds me of those villians that always seem so happy when they're creating chaos and destruction, you either love them or hate them. This song makes me want to dance around my house, screaming at the top of my lungs while laughing maniacally XD.
5. Veronica Sawyer Smokes - I like this song more so because of the story behind it XD. Again, another song people seem to dislike yet I like. Catchy music
6. Okay, I Feel Better Now - this song made me feel funny; more like it actually evoked some deeper emotion inside of me. I can't really explain what it is but I had to take a moment after the song ended and just... sit back and think. It hit closer to home than any of them
7. Medicate - I thought a good first single. I think it holds a bit of old AFI in it but mixed with something newer and more exciting.
8. I Am Trying Very Hard to Be Here - simple. I liked it
9. Sacrilege - Now this is one that can be very offensive to some but honestly, sometimes it echoes my own sentiments. I'm not an atheist, however, I have a really hard time with organized religions in general that try and force it down your throat like it's the only way to think. "Screaming for pure love you venerate delusion based in hate" sums up a lot of how
10. Cold Hands - I thought the lyrics were very well put together, although sometimes I forget i'm listening to it, hahahahaha. Its not bad though
11. It Was Mine - A good song for a good ending of the cd in my opinion. Pure and simple =)

12. Darling, I Want To Destroy You - Again one of those songs that are sung so sweetly but listening to the lyrics you are just like "... wooow harsh" XD It's a great song for ex-boyfriend/girlfriends
All in all. I give this CD an A and I am so glad they have some new stuff out! Now I just have to wait for November Nineth :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
