i got my wisdom teeth pulled. That's right, all 4 of them. My face is all numb, correction, the right side of my face is numb still spreading while my left isn't. Why you may ask. well i got a total of give or take 8 anesthetic shots to my checks, gums, and upper part of my my mouth. I have NEVER gotten any shots to my mouth before. Reason: I have never had a cavity, filling or anything done beside braces. I have had teeth removed before, permanent ones, but they were done ultra surgically and had the common decency of knocking me out. So i think i've had too much anesthetic on one side of my check. waaaaaaaaaaay too much. My ear is beginning to be numb. The ****ing shots to the top of the inside of my mouth were the worse. they made me cry. So they tried to give me laughing gas to calm me down, only no matter how high they turned it, it really had no affect on me. there was a 30 second episode of being disoriented and lightheaded but I recovered. so for the next day all i get to do is drink fluid and straws aren't allowed! the "sucking action tends to dislodge the blood clot and will cause additional bleeding." AHH!
well at least my surgeon was cute. I would guess 26. fyi, if you call me, you can do all the talking, i will just listen. and you can bet your last dollar i'm going to hit up that prescription medication as soon as the pain kicks in. j/k j/k considering...
