Evaluations and Steampunk.
Today I had my year end, Six Month Progress Evaluation at work (even though I am still on 5 months, lol). I sat in a small meeting room with my head boss (and head of company), and we went over everything. Besides her expressing how she would LIKE IT if I did not wear a hat all the time (more proffesional dressing), she says the only other thing is I need to work on mostly, is to be more asstertive. In other words, I past with a little above average colors. :) I feel good about myself, yay!!
So if any of you been reading my journals about my books, you would know I am also working on writing a book that has.. a more SteamPunk theme to it. I am totally, in love and interested in this culture, and I own quite a few steam punk things (and I would dress it too occassionaly, if my boss would let me, lol). So as a late Christmas gift to myself, I bought this MOST EPIC book I found in one of my favorite stores, Fuego. It's called "The Steampunk Bible", and it has.. almost everything you could ever need to know about it, in it. Including clothes, objects, ect. I bought it new off Amazon, since it was slightly cheaper cause they had it for sale on there (was $17 on there, $30 at Fuego). I CAN'T WAIT FOR IT TO ARRIVE. It's almost like waiting for a BJD but not as bad. D: I am so excited to read it, it looked so good when I was flipping through it at Fuego!! Should really help me with my book as well.
It says it should arrive on the 4th of January, soo..Next week, Wenesday. O_O -Sits and fidgets not so patiently-
