Gypsy Punk

One of the best concerts I've ever attended, and I'm very glad I decided to go. Amazing performances from the first opening band, Skampida (rock/punk/reggae), which created an amazing energetic atmosphere. The second opening act, Zox (Whaaaa, break my heart generic rock. I wish I could cry) I (And apparently MOST of the crowd) could have done VERY well without. Then, of course, the main attraction of the show, Gogol Bordello (rock/punk/gypsy/ethnic-folk). Such amazing energy and stage presence. Eugene's sheer insanity, and awesome fiddler, an accordian player, and two lovely women (One of which is apparently dating Elijah Wood). I have some pictures I am putting up. Keep in mind they are low quality due to being camera phone photos.

The fiddler, Sergey Ryabtsev, and the accordian player, Yury Lemeshev, taking the front stage while Eugene Hütz plays acoustic in the back.

All of the above joined with Elizabeth and Pamela, and a man who's name I don't know. Short Spanish singer guy.

Eugene crowd surfing on a marching drum during the final song that Pamela was playing.

Eugene is REALLY riding that crowd.

ANYWAYS! Fucking awesome show. Yes. Fucking awesome.
