Dear Ryan
I would like for you to know that my chosen position on religion is a completely self-concluded descion. i was raised as a "devote christain..." and have gone to church many times. as a child my religion, likemany others, was predetermined. i was content, not knowing any better. my parents are christains and my relatives are catholic. if my family found out i didn't believe in god, i would practically be dis-owned.
not believing in god was never even an option for me until a while ago and the thought that someone could not believe in god was boggling. i was raised that people who didm't believe in god were bad and not worth the breathe.
i am not rebelling in anyway by being an atheist, thats not my point, the point is that i have seen both sides and it was my own uninfluenced descion.
however i would love to take up your offer in talking about religion. that could in fact be quite entertaining.
