Well, school started Monday for me and it sucks. High school isn't horrible, but it's not terribly exciting either - it's a bit lonely, being that I'm the new kid. :/
Anyway, I'm hoping to actually wake up on time tomorrow and get some writing done, as well as essays for both English Honors and Biology Honors - teachers are cruel that way. I'm feeling awful about never updating, guys, I really am. The next chapter should make things a bit easier to flow with, though. If you're an author, you know that the beginning chapters of a fan fiction are always the hardest to write, and it's doubly so for me because I'm so busy and in a rut. Not to mention that there's like no Katie/Oliver stories to get ideas from - but that's okay, I wouldn't want to become monotonous and dreary repeating what every other fic did if there were, anyway.
If any of you have any advice on being a new kid in a new school, please message me. I've lived in the same community all my life and grew up with all the kids around there, so not knowing anyone is really hard for me. Blah.
I started a Fred/Angelina one-shot a while ago and dug Years Gone By out of my piles of random crap on my computer, so I'm hoping I'll get something done on those as well - sometimes you just need to work on something different, you know? I might be posting some spoilers on YGB just to see if any of you are interested in it soon, so keep an eye out for that.
Last but not least, I'd like to take a moment in my ever-rambling memo to mention Katie who has made the past months in my life a bajilion times better. She's been encouraging me since I first started posting Forever and Always and through my drafts of Years Gone By, as well as just my random ficlets I sometimes write out of pure boredom. Without her, I surely would've given up on fan fiction and not have had a role model to look up to to help me with all my different levels of stress. Because of her I have a tad more confidence (I think she's still working on that...) and have developed skills for both the real world and writing. So thank you, Katie, my BOFFE, my fellow author, my slut, my idol, and my half sober Creevey brother. I freaking love you
