The New Year, It Goes Schmoop
First 2010 entry. Happy (much belated) New Year!
… also first 2010 day of school, and I smartly managed to sleep right through my first two-hour class. (It was really on purpose. Professor was supposed to hand us our Philo copies back. He didn’t. Can’t say whether I’m relieved or just stressed, really.)
In other news, Paris is frozen over.
Have a bunch of New Year resolutions in retaliation. (Don't mind the double cut. LJ codes are a bit difficult to figure out; this stays till I've found a way around this.)
(with in no particular order)
1. Read Truman Capote’s Breakfast At Tiffany’s (and stop bursting out laughing every time I read his name because in French capote means condom.)
2. Round up that bloody MK FST of mine.
3. And stop writing a hundred drabbles to go with it.
4. Overall, stop being such a bloody perfectionist.
5. Outwardly, anyway.
6. Finish the fictictactoc KA English Poetry!AU. FURTHER INCENTIVE: If I do finish it, it’ll piss gemmie off. Which she doesn’t like. Which is relatively amusing. BTW, my dear friend-what the hell happened to Secret Santa again?
7. Finish up Fishy Antics. Fishy Antics will be finished. When is what I don’t know. Sometime. Before June. You have every allowance to shoot me if I don’t.
8. Stop reading so much Lupin.
9. And Sayers.
10. And Forster.
11. And Eliot. And cummings.
12. … scratch that what the hell i don’t even
13. Work. Not the half-assed kind. Work. There’re schools I’m supposed to be taking exams for at the end of spring.

15. Prepare for butterfly-chan’s coming to Paris. (Yes I know it’s still a year away but I’m so bloody excited about this you have no idea. Besides, if I want to take you to the Comédie-Française and the Musée Grévin and the Eiffel Tower, I’d best book tickets early in.) (omg you’ll love the Comédie so much I don't care I'm taking you there you won't understand a word but that's where the fun lies, really /brick'd)
16. Write fiction.

18. Buy clothes.
19. And shoes.
20. And possibly, er, food.
