HAPPY BIRTHDAY WENDY, JENNIFER, AND ADAM!
yesterday there was this massive accident right in front of mine and chris' apartment. i heard the crash from the kitchen and it sounded like something had exploded. evidently someone had a siezure while driving thier huge suv and slammed into the back of a dodge pick-up forcing the bed to crumple and almost shoving the rear wheels into the cab of the truck. a mercedes also got rear ended and the suv flipped about 3 times. our neighbor beth's truck got side swiped in all the mess missing mine by about a foot and a half.
they had to use the jaws of life to get the passenger out of the pick up, but everyone else walked away with minor bumps and bruises. no word on the person who had the siezure though, but the passenger of the pick-up was ok. they're not really even sure on the seizure part, but that was all the info they had when we talked to them. it was crazy.
beth's sideview mirror was a half a block away from her truck, and her driver's side window was in the bed of her truck. she drove her girlfriend's car to work. i sent her pictures. i felt bad for her but it was kind of funny because she cant get into her truck from the passenger side because the door wont shut once it's opened and now she cant open her driver's side door anymore so i guess if she wants to get into her car she has to do it dukes of hazzard style.
in other news, i am in my last semester of school. i will be graduating in august, but commencment is not until december. chris and i will be at burning man in august/sept. and there is possible a trip to germany/austria/switzerland in our future for october so that is exciting. if we get to go we will be be-bopping around there for about 2 weeks.
