recommendations and being obsessive

my boss isnt here! so i had an extra long lunch :p and the day will be more relaxing :D

i just returned from a japanese lunch with andy :)
recently, almost every meal we've had is japanese. he's been watching this food show that features food from japan, and i've always been a lover of sashimi and sushi. :D

aside from going to j-town for japanese meals, sashimi in san gabriel is... well, acceptable. we're too lazy to go to j-town, so we've been trying sushi places in sg. about two or three weeks ago, we've discovered (or finally tried) this restaurant named, Wonderful. their sashimi is oh-so-fresh! i always passed by it, and we finally decided to try it. it's located on new ave. right across from savon. prices are a bit more expensive, but mmmmm.. it's yum :) i just came back from there, and it's my fourth time there already!

there's this other place in temple city located on temple city blvd. i dont know what it's called, but it's a japanese ramen restaurant. it's really yumm. and it's actually opened by a japanese person! they also serve sashimi, and prices are reasonable! the restaurant is located in a plaza next to aci. it's really small, and it kinda feels like home :)

okay, haha, enough with recommendations. :p

i've gotten fatter from vegas, even though people are saying otherwise. is it me? or are you guys seeing something else? i mean, a person knows when he/she gains weight, and i'm certain i've gained weight.

but yup, we had yummy buffet at wynn and bellagio. i enjoyed bellagio's food, while wynn's environment made it seem more classy.

but yeah.

i've noticed that i get quite obsessive with food. i mean, i can eat a certain type of food forevers. like, everyday, for a few times. i've gotten obsessive with cereal. it started in ucr, and i just had cereal ... whenever i wanted. it was sooo yummy. there were a variety of flavors, and i just loved it soo much. i liked it so much that i purposely woke up everyday at 8am or something just to get cereal at logos. and i'd crave it so much that i'd set aside what i planned to eat for the next morning. and during class, when i had a craving again, i'd be thinking about what cereal i'd be eating once i return to the dorms.

since moving out of riverside, i'm already on my fourth box of cereal. like, you know, the BIG kinds. not only do i eat cereal, i also have other meals! so imagine how much i could be eating!

not only am i obsessed about cereal, i've grown obsessed with yogurt. like, i'd end up having three yogurts a day or something. every week, i'd go through the market ads, and pray that yoplait yogurt is selling 20 for $10. =.='''

my bring-to-work lunches always end with a yogurt. my "dessert" is yogurt. after my morning cereal, i'd add in a yogurt.

and currently, i'm obsessed with japanese. i think i'm going to have it again tonight.

gosh, is something wrong? i mean, i'm sure(?) there are people that eat the same thing everyday or something? am i making myself sound weird? because even when i was away (at vegas), i kept craving for my bowl of cereal and my scoop of yogurt.

not only that,
i always order the same dish at garden cafe... or any other cafe. -- baked spinach and sole fillet in rice. gosh. until recently, i've grown kind of sick of it (it's kind of heavy), but it's been a year or so that i've always ordered that same dish. waitresses at garden cafe are like, "same old thing?" and i'd nod.

this has been a weird obsessive entry. please excuse me. :(

oh, and of course, if i could afford good cheesecake everyday, i'd be eating that too. :/
