1. I think it is the neatest thing ever that both Jeremy and I, after having washed the dishes or some other mundane task, will both go into the bathroom to wash our hands, fearing that the kitchen faucet/water/the room itself is somehow tainted.
...It just makes me feel dirty.
2. One of my most vivid memories from when I was a youngin' comes from my time in South Carolina. My brother and I were in the kitchen and attempted to create a new trend in kid cuisine--shaking up Coca-Cola with a healthy dose of milk. I believe it is the most disgusting thing I've ever let into my mouth. (However, we had it in this cute "sippy cup" that looked like a chibi lion/tiger.)
3. I hate wearing bras.
4. I'm rereading Gene Wolfe's Book of the New Sun (series) because it is the most excellently crafted series I've ever read. Thinking about the complications/timelines gives me a headache.
5. Between my freshman and sophomore years of college, I went to the dentist one day and he told me I had a cavity. (No surprise there. My mom force feeds me sugary shit--not quite literally. [I can't decide whether ^.^ or v.v is the appropiate emoticon for that.] That, and the enamel on my teeth is naturally thin/weak/whatever.) Well, when I went back so that he could fill that cavity my ever-ept (hahahaha...memories of Donna!) dentist sent the numbing shot right into a bed of nerves in my cheek. This caused excrutiating pain. ...and, one side of my face went slack for approximately 24 hours. What a messed up feeilng that was. >.<
6. We got bookshelves! So, I managed to stuff all of my books onto those bookshelves, and I even organized them in my own idiosyncratic way. The only thing is... I got freaked out because some of my academic books (subset: Japanese Studies) are separated from the others because of space concerns. Damn those pragmatic things like physical space to hell! I also get freaked out when having to shelve oversized books because when I have more than one row per shelf, the books in the frontmost row won't be even because of the damned oversized books.
