My work is done...
I've now seen The Big Lebowski and it did live up to the hype. It was freaking hysterical, what can I say? I'm not going out and getting a tattoo in honor of The Dude, but I understand now why my coworker did.
The writing was superb. This is only the 2nd Coen Bros movie I've seen, but I am starting to get the hype surrounding them. I really enjoyed Jeff Bridges, but I loved John Goodman. He's always so good in everything he does. In a way, I think he's so good you sometimes forget about him. Julianne Moore was random and I still don't like her, but she was amusing at times.
And oh, look, it's Tara Reid when she was cute and not a cracked-out hot mess. Good for her.
I like all the mundane reality and details surrounding the extraordinary events that take place in the film.
