So the other day I was thinking about the things I used to do/love as a kid. And than i realized how some of those things seem to be making quite a come back..
Peter Forsburg was my idol for the longest time when I was little. I used to love the Avalanche and got to see them win 2 stanley cups. Now years later, he is here in philly, doing the same amazing things, in black and orange. The best thing about having him here though, is that my childhood idol is now well known in philly and the surrounding areas. The other night I saw a young kid with a forsburg jersey on, and it just took me back. I guess its pretty cool that hes here for the youngin's to idolize around here like I did.
Another pretty cool childhood memory, is curious george. They are making a movie out of his books! It makes me happy that theyre bringing back an old school cartoon and bringing onto the big screen. Jack johnson wrote a song for the movie already, and its wonderful.
