and the children were playing cricket with no shoes

My partial week alone wasnt so bad. No one told me what time i had to go to bed, and I could pretty much do what i pleased. What i pleased.. pretty much translates into.. I played DDR.. all day, every day.

I was productive however. I might have mentioned in an earlier entry that we were planning to play the look whos 40 joke on my father, with our own spin ofcourse.
The mission: to make 40 piles of fake dog crap out of something.. and lay them on the lawn, along with a sort of sign that says "HOLY SHIT, JERRY's 40!

It was a collaberation of people who all pitched in to help well, humilitate my father.. and in the end it was all worth it.

My uncle dave made 2 dogs out of wood, one with a word bubble that i wrote the message on.

My mother and sister started the piles of crap. Out of house insulation. It ended up working awesomely.

i painted everything, with chris's help

the neighbors stashed everthing until it was time..
and than today me and chris put it all out during lunch.

Than they didnt get home till it got dark, and we had to find a good light.. which was another scramble.

all in all.. we got it out, my parents came back.. and my dad loved it.
i think everyone played a part because well, we just like getting him when we can.
They are home now.. had a great time, and my freedom is overrrr. thats okay though.

ill post the pictures as soon as i get them back

I sat and watched thicker than water again today with chris. Jack has a new dvd set coming out tuesday, and ofcourse im going to go get it. There is something about that whole scene that really chills me out. As much as i love the fall.. i do miss thing about the summer. Those never ending nights on the shore, where the water meets the sky and the scene extends forever.

I hope i get a surf board for christmas.

Tomorrow is another one of them there scary college interviews, which means im missing school.. but I dont want to. Cabrini college or university or whatever it is. After that though.. Armor for sleep and Matchbook romance with aislinn and most of the crew. Its pretty needless to say.. but i cant wait.

Brushfire fairytales
Itsy bitsy diamond wells
Big fat hurricanes
Yellow bellied given names
Well shortcuts can slow you down
And in the end we're bound
To rebound off of we

Well dust off your thinking caps
Solar powered plastic plants
Pretty pictures of things we ate
We are only what we hate
But in the long run we have found
Silent films are full of sound
Inaudibly free

Slow down everyone
You're moving too fast
Frames can't catch you when
You're moving like that

Inaudible melodies
Serve narrational strategies
Unobtrusive tones
Help to notice nothing but the zone
Of visual relevancy
Frame-lines tell me what to see
Chopping like an axe

Or maybe Eisenstein should just relax

Slow down everyone
You're moving too fast
Frames can't catch you when
You're moving like that

Well Plato's cave is full of freaks
Demanding refunds for the things they've seen
I wish they could believe
In all the things that never made the screen
And just slow down everyone
You're moving too fast
Frames can't catch you when
You're moving like that
Slow down everyone
You're moving too fast
Frames can't catch you when
You're moving like that
Moving Too....
