I reported another bot this afternoon. Just a reminder: don't click on their links, y'all.
I have been informed by reliable sources that it is far past time for me to do another drabble meme.
SO. LET US OPEN THIS ESTABLISHMENT FOR BUSINESS, SHALL WE?
(Wow, has it really been almost two years since I did one of these? D:)Here's how it works

"Thank God," Lavi whispers, collapsing.
"No, you idiot, I can see the way you are favoring your left side-stop that." Kanda pads over to Allen and Lavi turns his head in time to see Kanda take Allen by the hips and shift him around, which is a lot more like what Lavi had in mind. Not that he is having unchaste thoughts about his comrades, oh no. "You're supposed to be lifting, not pushing; you're doing this completely wrong, of course-"
"Allen, you okay there?" Lavi murmurs as Allen's face goes a shade of red that is alarming even considering the fact that his head is pressed into the mat underneath him.
Lavi has decided that Kanda likes to be instructional, for certain definitions of the word, only when he can be as smug and sure of himself as possible.
Kanda apparently finds Allen's center of balance for him. "There. Now stay there and breathe."
"Okay," Allen whispers. Lavi laughs, almost sympathetically, but it's cut short by Kanda's foot on the small of his back.
"You. Back up."
"I need to be able to walk after this," Lavi reminds Kanda. "Possibly great distances. You never know what may happen around here."
"If your legs hurt you're doing it incorrectly. That would be your fault," Kanda informs him. "It's called discipline." Lavi groans and begins to hoist himself back up.
"Your focus," Kanda says to Allen. Lavi can feel Kanda's eyes on his butt (as he lifts instead of pushing, so help him God) in an uncomfortably critical manner, and there is no way he is going to be able to do this for more than thirty more seconds, especially with Kanda staring at him. "I've seen you completely focused on what you are doing."
This is possibly the closest thing to encouragement Lavi has ever heard coming out of Kanda's mouth. And he is a little mortified by the fact that Allen is showing no signs of strain yet while Lavi is dying.
Or falling over. Either way. The mat burns his arm as he slides over it.
Kanda sighs. "Straighten yourself out before you cramp," he says. Lavi flops over on his back and stretches his legs while Kanda kneels between them to talk Allen back down to the mat, close enough to touch, in softer tones that make Lavi think that maybe Kanda isn't such an awful teacher after all. Lavi almost reaches out to tug at the sash draped around Kanda's waist, but thinks better of it.
