after`just watching all 6 Star Wars movies...everything is a path to the dark side I think.
The prequel trilogy(Ep. 1-3) is has gotten MUCH better with age. I'll go into that more
The Phantom Menace- I enjoyed this much more than I did when I last watched it. I really feel it's a much better film than people think it is....if you're like me and was a bit let down with it when it came out..watch it again. Yes, the little kid is still annoying...but watching the extra features, he really was the best one that read for the role. The film looks AMAZING.
Attack of The Clones- I skiped the middle of the movie where Anakin and Padme are rowling around in the field....try it...you'll notice a difference.
Revenge of the Sith- The only prequel that almost everyone seemed to like. Hayden Christenen can't act, everyone knows that...but it's easy to look past. The second hour is the best hour in all 6 films. The second best Star Wars film overall(after The Empire Strikes Back)
The Original Trilogy was odd to watch. Even though I was watching the 2004 Special Editions A New Hope(Ep 4) hasn't aged well. Return of the Jedi(Ep 6) is generally considered by most fans the weakest of original trilogy, but I really think it's aged the best.
The Empire Strikes Back(Ep 5) is still a masterpeice. I'll fight anyone to the death who says other wise.
That was the first time I'd watched both trilogys in a row like that. I think most of the story added by the prequels held up and flowed well into the later films, with the exception of a few thinks here and there. The one I noticed the most was the word Sith is said about 3459459033453 times in the prequel, while the word is never said once in the Original 3.
Most people say, "oh the writing in the prequels was SOO bad". NOPE. It was just as good as the Originals. The Classics are for some reason givin a free pass for their corny lines and bad acting, yet the Prequels get picked apart for both.
