[It's been a while since Lenalee has addressed the network. For lack of anything to say that wouldn't be a rehash of what everyone else has already long gone over, maybe. Something like that. There's only so much she can bring up with a group of people she doesn't know or understand, after all

I tried studying some maps at the old library in June, but... [her tone shifts to something more chagrined, and though he can't see it, she brings a hand up to rub her temple] the buildings disappeared shortly after and I haven't been back since.
I think- there were some much further North, though. [Maybe. Hastily adding:] But there's no telling how old those maps are. Half of them are so damaged they looked as if they might fall apart if I even touched them and I couldn't find a date that I [could read] recognized. The chance that the landscapes haven't changed over the years, or that other cities didn't come to the same fate this one did...
[She almost doesn't want to chance to hope.]

North...
[He repeats it, quietly.] So maps are needed as well.

Wait...
[Wait for it...]
...They disappeared? [Let's give the boy a cigar!]

Yes, the apartments disappeared- [a hitch as she changes tack] Wait, didn't anyone tell you about this? Libitina- she makes things happen once a month. Little things, usually, that last a week, but in June, she made all the inhabitable buildings disappear. They were gone for a fortnight.
You couldn't even tell there had ever been anywhere to live. The fog was too thick to see anything, and I got separated from everyone for a few days.
[And she pauses, sighing softly. Trying to explain these things really makes glaringly obvious just how little she understands of their situation.] And to keep with the irregularities, nothing at all happened last month. I don't know if what that means for this month, but something strange might happen soon. If it does, please don't panic.

No. It seems people forgot to mention that vital bit of information.
[He doesn't comment on the 'don't panic' part. He's not exactly prone to panicking. Rampaging in a blind rage? Yup. But never panic.]
Gotta question. There a clinic or doctor around who could use this shit I picked up? Don't want to leave it for the vultures.

He'll hear Lenalee make an apologetic sort of sound.] I'm sorry, I should have mentioned it during our last discussion. Anyone who wasn't here before mid-June wouldn't have known about it, so it's my fault for thinking someone else might inform you instead of doing it myself.

Ah- the first floor of the apartments, maybe? The hospital... or what's left of it... is too dangerous for anyone to spend much time in... But you really brought supplies back for us?
Reply
...Don't ask.
After a moment, he just makes kind of an exasperated sound.]
Don't worry about it. I know now.

[And yup, he brought back supplies. A pretty hefty box of them too, though he did glare at the hypodermic needles for a while with a deep loathing for all their kind. Still, there's anesthetics, various antibiotics, basic medicines, sanitizers, rubber gloves, a stethoscope, a box of tongue depressors, and a few other medical goodies packed in tightly. Alex was thorough.]
No. I'm just telling you that as a joke. [And it might be believable if Alex had only barely just developed a sense of humour. That bit of sarcasm was the best he could do.] The meds I didn't bring back'll be there then, if you want to get them before any looters do.
[His curiosity is piqued once again.] What's so dangerous about the hospital? Or is it just falling apart like the rest of this dump?
Reply
Oh, Alex, that is probably one of the most helpful things anyone has done for them yet. You'd better be extra broody in the future to make up for that generosity...! Lenalee huffs a quiet sound that could be a slightly wondering laugh.] I'll make sure I distribute everything carefully. There's really nobody here to loot them... we all know each other.
[Or at least, Allen does.]
The, ah... hospital... [She pauses, pursing her lips. Haunted, wasn't it? And filled with remains, and stale medicine, and probably sickly mold... and yes, definitely in ruins.] It is falling apart, yes. But besides that, nothing was ever cleaned out, so whatever was there when... this... happened ['this' being the destruction of Nesreca] will still be there. Just... not the same as before. It's most likely not healthy to breathe the air inside for a long period of time.
And apparently... there's the chance that you may encounter- well, ghosts. Like Libitina, maybe. I'm not sure. I've never tried to find out.

Not my problem. Just letting you know.
[He is intrigued about the hospital now. Seems like an interesting place with some interesting stuff. And he ain't afraid of no ghosts.]
Anyone go in there already?
Reply
Slowly:] I think some of us may have, just to check for anything that could still be usable, but I don't really know for sure. I won't lie; I've been tempted to investigate it myself a few times now. Please be careful if you do go in on your own.
[Super speed and the like aside, she doesn't want anyone getting hurt because they ran off on something she said.]

I'm going to check it out tomorrow morning. If you're interested and don't want to go alone, there's your chance.
If not, I'll let you know whether or not it's dangerous.
[Ghosts can't be as bad as a nuke to the face, right? ...........Right?]

There's a hesitant pause, followed by a soft sigh.] I'll go with you.

See you at dawn.
