my cries for help went ignored,
leading to my downfall.
scars of emptiness,
filled an empty canvas.
pain became life,
and life became pain.
tears took over my once lively eyes,
and with the mask i wore,
no one could have known,
the despair that consumed me.
one day the smiles disappeared
and i was lost...

and in that split second you entered my life,
all was changed.
