it made me chuckle earlier when I was reading in my book, "An ironic person does not commit suicide."
Then there was a quote by Oscar Wilde that I particularly liked.
"You must not be frightened by words, Ernest. What people call insincerity is simply a methods by which we can multiply our personalities."
And how flippin true is that? I've seen it happen to people everywhere! This book is just shockingly true because half of the things I'm reading about have happened to me. You think you know a person and instinctively people are always willing to eff you over. Well, not all people but it's really easy to take advantage of trusting people. It really makes you think twice before you even consider trusting one person to the next.
I wrote a new poem, The Anatomy of Lie... I like it. However, I'm not going to post it until it's polished, it's based on true people that I've met and have been effed over by. I'm sure we can all relate. Ha ha... true people, let's just say existing people, just to be satirical. I also wrote a parody that I'm rather fond of.
Words are my only knives. How sad... and my "tude".
