isn't it amazing that we are already through wit basically half a year of school that in another year we will be juniors (or w/e). for us sophmores its the half way point in our high school career only 2 years left. 2 years to laugh, love, sing, cry, to make new friends, to settle old scores, to become the person that we want to be for the rest of our lives. why give in to the peer pressures of the people around when most likely u will never see them after high school. why look down on other people, when u know that u are simply inseguro (insecure) yourself.
i believe that our sophmore New Year's Resolution should be to live life with passion, with freedom and without fear of looking "stupid" or "weird". i believe that we should strive to treat others as we would wish to be treated. i also believe that we should remain open minded and always give a person a chance despite what kind of clothes they wear or where they live.
look into a soul, that u have put aside, again and see if they hold something dear."

kelly, you are so amazingly right
think about it ... i don't know about you guys, but freshman year went by extremely fast ... i look back and it, and think of how much we've all grown up and changed ... mostly for the good, partly for the worst
we're all growing up, and unfortunately, away from each other
we have 2 years left. 2 YEARS LEFT. and as much as we may deny it or hate to admit it, we will all go our separate ways ... sure, some of us will stay in touch for alittle while. but look at your parents ... how many of their friends from high school do they stay in touch with? very few. and i think thats just horrible.
2 years people. 2 years. make the best of it. because we won't be able to go back. forget regret, make new friends, dont hold grudges, and make sure your friends know how much you care about them. treat others how you want to be treated. live life to the fullest. try not to let the little things get to you.
you can't let these years just blow by ... make the best of it. don't be shy, let the true you out ... who cares what others think!! most likely, the people who bother you, you will never see again ... except maybe at class reunions ... :)
i mean, seriously, think about a class ... any class ... say, your english class ... think of where you sit, the people in that class ... there are the "popular" ones, the shy ones, the outgoing ones, the class clowns, the brainiacs. next year, you won't have that group of people together again. think of how many people have sat in that classroom, at your desk
time is literally ticking away.
but we can't look at it in a depressing way. i mean, sure, people do change. and it sucks sometimes. but it helps you realize your true friends ... they say these are the best years of our lives!!! lets try to make that happen!!
do what you want to do, be who you want to be
make a life for yourself ... create stories that you can one day look back at when you're 85 and laugh ... and make friends that you can be sitting next to when you're 85, reliving those moments
2005 is drawing to a close ... but 2006 is just beginning.
a whole new year, a whole new start, a clean slate for everyone.
everyone gets a second chance
