This time tomorrow, I will be making final preparations for my trip to Penn State as well as my trip to Virginia. When I come back on Thursday night, I'll have my classes for the fall semester, a PSU email account, and my school ID. Then Friday afternoon, I leave for my final week of freedom with my best friends. These next two weeks are everything I've been waiting for.
But today is not. I have a terribly messy room to clean and two bags to pack. If there is one thing I hate more than cleaning, it's packing. It takes me so long and usually when I do it, my mom gets on me every time she breathes. Plus, today's packing involves packing for a WEEK at the beach. I already packed the brand new cooler I got for opening my checking account at M&T. As far as other stuff to pack for senior week, Maria and I are having a meeting tonight to discuss other pertinent items, like linens and medicine and cleaning products and trash bags and the such. I'm thoroughly excited for our meeting, and at the same time, I'm not and here's why: we'll be discussing all the ways my money will be departing from me, like groceries, gas, entertainment, and the such. :\ Goodbye, hard earned graduation money. I shall miss you.
Other updates that some people might want to know:
- Don't have the car. Chelsea got stuck in the mud at Merriweather and some idiot pulled the car out all poorly. The car is in the shop to fix the detached bumper and get new tires. By the time we get the car back, I will be in VA.
- My house is back to normal. Family (i.e. my brother, BJ, and my sister's godfamily, Marie, Brie, and Levi) crashed the house for graduation. Almost lost my sanity with so many people here. Although, we ate at Sakura, which rocked, and Medieval Times, which also rocked. All are gone. For now. The godfamily is coming back on their drive back to Texas.
- I have decided to either hardcore diet or go back on the gluten-free diet. My weight is getting out of control and my tummy doesn't react well to some foods anymore. So we'll see how this goes.
Other than that, life is just the same ol', same ol'. Mom is still crazy, I never see Dad as often as I'd like, Chels is gone all the time when I'm home and vice versa, John amazes me, and my friends are kooky as ever. To think, only 2 and 1/2 months left of it all...
Wow.
