UPDATE Kitty may be able to get the dental work done as a demonstration case at the Purdue Vet School, in which case it would be either free or cheap. So I am keeping my fingers crossed!

I got my test results back - sad news, I need to up the dose of thyroid hormones... :( - but more on that later. I have something more pressing to address.
A friend of mine has a cat who suddenly needs dental work very badly. Having seen my childhood pet Pablo suffer through years of trying to eat with rotten teeth (he was too old and skinny to go under anesthesia to have them pulled) and finally pass away last winter, I personally want to do everything in my power to help this kitty. The estimate for the dental work is $2000, so I am asking anyone that can to pitch in - even if it only a couple dollars - toward this goal. His owner simply cannot afford the procedure. Please help.
