Night Life in France

  Hey, Everyone!!

I'm home!!  I mean I'm actually home.  I'm not even in Phoenix, but back here in Tucson.  I'm glad I made it back for some of the monsoons.  Not like I haven't been rained on fequently in the past few weeks, but unlike England this rain won't feel like ice.

By the way, I am so glad that Vanessa is out and about in Baltimore!!  I'm not glad that she's gone, cuz I wish I could have seen her, but I'm glad she's out there.  Ya know?  Getting out for the summer.  It's all so great and exciting.  I hope you have a wicked time, luv.

So what did I do in Paris??  Well, this is the last entry I have to write about Europe so here goes...

PARIS:

So Paris is in fact quite dirty in some areas, especially the tube line.  And yes also...fragrant, I suppose.

But it is also so charming.  I traveled to the tip of the Eiffel Tower and it was so surreal to be gazing onto the vast city of Paris on top of this work of architectual genius and art.  The Parisians are so proud of this and their culture.  It rubs off a bit.  And when that tower lights up...it's gorgeous.  It was humorous when I decided to wave frantically at the tower guards who look so intimidating with their guns and weaponry.  They were so shocked that they stopped scowling for a moment and smiled and waved back...haha, who says all the French are rude?  Cuz it's not true at all.

Disney Land Paris was absolutely wicked!  Great rides.  And the best part was that the longest I had to wait in queue for was less than 15 minutes, if we waited at all, since we had Fast Passes.  I went on Space Mountain twice and it even had a loop and cork screw...more intense than in Cali.  But I still love Cali's "most magical place on earth" best.

Then I went to:  Notre Dame Cathedral, Scared Heart (magnificent white marbel) Cathedral, and Monmarte (where the bohemians were at the turn of the century).

I also went to the infamous Louvre museum where I saw Da Vinci's "Mona Lisa".  It truly is wonderful to look upon the real works of Da Vinci, Raphael, Botticelli and so on.  Also the great sculptures of the Greeks...which are very very nude.

Amour...

...then my mates and I hung out at a cute little Cafe on the streets of Paris at night when these football ("soccer") players from Florida on an EXPO began to chat with us trying to buy us drink.  They also bought us roses.  Now roses don't mean too much from strangers unless they are given to you in Paris...the city of love.  Quite giggly after that and all smiles.  We couldn't help it.

Later that night went clubbing at an Irish Pub...haha I can't believe that this smokey room filled with the French, Swedish, Spanish, English could all know the old school hip hop...haha they couldn't understand what I was saying but this they new!

So I guess you could say I had a great time!!  Except for when these guys tried to cat call Aissa and touch my ass...that just pissed me off.  We didn't even look good, we were just tired from a day at Disney Land, and Aissa's parents were right there.  Those were the only rude people I encountered...damn teenagers.  But anyways, that's another story.

I miss England, I would have to say that was my favourite place.  But I also miss Aissa!  Love you.
