Summary: Psyche wants to give Thanny something nice~

Reaching Psyche's door with a can of soup in one hand and a two liter of sprite in the other, Thanatos hesitated before finally knocking. He'd googled her symptoms and this was the best method of defeating nausea and while he was hesitant to believe the internet world, this was better than the nothing he could have done otherwise. As he stood out there waiting for her to answer, the fact that he was there at all struck him, resulting in a small frown. When was it that she had managed to make it into his good graces? And Miss Iffy, as well? He'd thought himself above mingling with the others, but the two of them were different. The small amount of trust in people outside his family that he was willing to allow himself had managed to include them and so he found himself standing at her door, for some reason giving a damn about how she felt and wanting to make it better. And for some reason willing to give into her earlier request, as well.

Psyche had been patiently waiting for him, so when he knocked she rose to her feet and went over to the door, opening it a tiny fraction. "Hey." She gave him a smile and seemed surprise that he was carrying something in his hand. "Wait, give me these-" she reached over to take them, "And just wait a moment, um, alright?" She closed the door behind her again and went to put the soup and sprite in the kitchen. She wondered why he'd brought her those but... nevermind, it had been nice of him to do so.

After a moment, Psyche returned and opened the door a bit more, holding the blindfold in one hand. "Sorry, you couldn't come in just yet."

As she took what he had to offer and left him standing out there in the hallway, he felt an uncomfortable weight settle around his middle. It grew heavier as he caught sight of the blindfold. It wasn't that he didn't trust her, but the feeling of vulnerability wasn't something he cared for. Particularly after his previous experiences. He hadn't forgotten how Sisyphos had left him in chains for what had felt like an eternity and he hadn't forgotten how he'd been overpowered by Heracles, either. Or most recently, how Peitho had tied him to a chair. But he...trusted Psyche, didn't he? She'd been one of the few to trust him. Briefly studying her as she stepped back out, he relaxed a little, feeling confident in his ability to overpower her if she tried anything else. "What...is that for, exactly?" he finally prompted.

Psyche smiled, "It's so you don't see the surprise until it's ready." She hesitated and held up the scarf for him to examine, "It's just your eyes and it won't take long." It felt that she should reassure him as much as possible, Psyche wouldn't do him any harm but she didn't want to make him unhappy. "Let me, alright? You can pull it off if you feel wrong." She stepped around him and rose on tip toes and wrap the blindfold over his eyes twice and tie it in a simple but firm knot.

"Is that fine?"

Thanatos pursed his lips at the initial touch of the blindfold, probably only because the feel of it reminded him too much of Peitho's scarves. Still, as she tied it, he stood there, fairly calm given the circumstances. It wasn't his hands. He could still take it off if he wanted, too. "It's fine." he replied, beginning to relax again. "You don't need to do anything else to me, do you?"

"No, no." Psyche muttered softly and took one of his hands in hers before pushing the door open and leading him into her apartment. She was careful not to guide him onto any furniture as she lead him to his new room. Stopping to take his other hand, she made sure he didn't smash onto the door frame and paused. She was ridiculously excited and shy and worried. "Alright. Um." she moved behind him and reached up to undo his blindfold, "Don't... freak out, um, okay?" she whispered shyly and took it off as promised.

The new room was decorated differently, a large bed, TV, a table and windows. It had been rearranged in a special more sombre way, walls painted a dark colour and black/dark brown being the colour scheme of it. Regardless, Psyche didn't think it was depressing, she kinda...liked it.

Thanatos nearly jumped as she took his hand, but noting that she was doing so gently, he calmed himself once more and allowed her to lead him into the apartment, frustrated at how dependent he was on her. Still, as they reached it and she finally removed the blindfold, he blinked, gaze wandering around the room before he turned to her with a questioning look. "Freak out?" he prompted. If the blank look he was sending her was any indication, he didn't get the gesture she was trying to make at all.

Psyche flushed at his blank look, "Um... I mean, don't... I... I hope you like it." She gestured towards the room, "Um, remember what you said about moving in with me? I wanted to make the room...nice, you know... different. I don't think you... you would like it if it was like my room."

He returned his eyes to the room at large, finally nodding in approval. "You didn't need to go to all this trouble." he offered. "Although I appreciate it. Did you want me to bring any furniture?" He liked what she'd done, but what in the world was he supposed to do with everything he had?

"Um... whatever you'd like." Psyche replied timidly, "You can change anything you like... you're living alone, right? ...I um... we can store things here... I ..." she was babbling and turned even redder, she was glad he seemed to like it. "Do you want help in moving anything?"

"I don't think that I'll move much." he commented. "I like this." There were a few things he intended to keep, but he doubted it would take long to move them. Suddenly turning back to her, he bit at his bottom lip. "You don't mind dogs, do you?"

Psyche shook her head, "I don't like them, but I don't mind them. Do you have one?" She couldn't see Thanatos owning a pet but... this was interesting. Didn't Eros and Dion own a cat? That was ironic.

"I do." he replied. "Her name is Samedi. She's small for now. I was told that she would get bigger, though. I can introduce you to her, if you would like." As he spoke, he idly made his way around the room, fingers brushing over the surfaces of the furniture before he finally seated himself on the bed.

Moving to sit by him, Psyche nodded, "Sure, of course...um, do you think she'll like me?" She wasn't sure as she'd never had animals before, but if Thanatos cared for this dog... she would too. Even if she preferred no animals at all. "Thanks," She added after a pause, looking thoughtfully at the floor.

"I'm sure that she will. She hasn't disliked anyone up to this point. "She's very small." Climbing to his feet again, he moved towards her, hesitating a moment before giving her a loose hug. "Thank you."

There was a smile when he gave her a hug, Psyche had been very lonely once and appreciated the small comforts brought by hugs. She returned the hug lightly.

"Then... welcome home, Thanny."
