Jason had wanted to check on Peitho after he had helped her get the hotel room. For one, he was bored and for another, it never hurt to check on a beautiful woman. Especially a goddess who could potentially help him if she ever came back to her full powers.

He remembered what room she was in and made his way up through the hotel to her. When he got to her door, he knocked before tucking his hands into his jean pockets and waiting for her to come to the door.

The knocking on her door broke into the reverie of numbers swimming through her head. She wrinkled her nose a little bit, wondering what was going on before uncurling herself from the chaise and padding across the room. There were really only so many people that knew where she was and it could have been her Hermes or Charybdis, needing help. As tired as she was, she wasn't about to ignore them.

Her bare feet make no noise on the carpet as she walks towards the door. Smoothing the hem of her dress down, she tiptoes as she looks through the peephole and sees a face not thoroughly strange or unwelcome but...unexpected. Hesitating for the briefest of moments, she pulls back and opens the door that wasn't locked to begin with.

"Jason," she smiled. They spoke occasionally when they met in the lobby and in the hallway but nothing more substantial. "To what do I owe the pleasure of this visit?"

"Just checking on you," Jason answered, returning her smile. He not-so-subtly let his eyes roam up and down her body, admiring the way the dress fit her body. Subtle he was not. "I wanted to make sure everything was alright with you, since this whole situation with the complex is fairly annoying."

He leaned against the wall, hooking his foot around his ankle. Jason was genuinely concerned about her, partly due to her nudity when they were kicked out but also because she was a beautiful woman. He was a shallow man with shallow reasons for doing thing. "So, tell me please, how are you?"

Peitho bristled a little under Jason's gaze, acutely aware of his extreme lack of proper decorum. Then again, Hermes wasn't all that subtle either. She took a step back to let him into the room, keeping her hand on the doorknob.

Being the goddess of her specific pantheon, she thrived on gentle nudges and flirtatious looks, nothing quite at all like the brashness she was currently receiving. Though~ Peitho was always looking for something new and interesting and people that were different from her. So she let him in.

"Thank you, Jason," she responded politely, smiling. "I am well, merely tired from the usual work day. Please, come in and tell me how you are faring. I was just about to ask for a meal to be sent up."

Jason followed her into the room and settled onto the couch. He was brash, yes, but he saw no reason to hide his attraction to someone. Subtly was also not his strongest suit. He couldn't bring himself to be subtle unless it was absolutely required of him. After all, it just clouded up the communication process. Or so he would claim for the rest of his life.

"I am doing well. Owning a hotel is convenient for when Cronus plays tricks like this. Would you like me to order it for you?" Maybe Jason would tone it down a little, despite his dislike of doing so. He had just been caught up in how she looked in the dress.

Peitho closed the door behind him and walked slowly, still getting used to the lack of elevation for her heels. She smiled at his casualness and how relaxed he seemed at just taking over her space. She sat across from him on her bed and leaned on the palms of her hand.

"I would imagine it is," she laughed lightly. Peitho was completely capable of ordering for herself but she wasn't the kind to turn down offers from men because it so very often led to a feeling of emasculation and she was supposed to encourage the exact opposite. So she relented. "Very well, please do. I would appreciate it."

"You could always come to my hotel and get a room there for free," he told her. This time, he wasn't trying to insinuate anything, he was genuinely offering the room to her. "And what can I order for you, goddess?" He didn't want to force a choice on her, after all. Jason enjoyed when women spoke their minds around him.

Jason reached over and rested his hand on the phone as he waited for her answer. "How are you finding mortal life? It's quite...different from being a goddess, I am sure."

Peitho smiled gently at his offer and inclined her head. "I was not aware~ If Cronus decides to torture us once more by displacing us again, I will most certainly take you up on your offer," she responded. "Especially as these places seem to have been designed specifically to rob us ( ... )

"Good. Would it be bad of me to say I would look forward to that?" Jason grinned. "Most of the places try to with the food prices." He picked up the phone and, while it rung, mock-glared at Peitho. "No listening in, we wouldn't want to ruin the surprise."

He whispered the order into the phone, getting a pizza for both them with something sweet (he didn't specify what) for Peitho to have for desert. Wine was, of course, the drink of choice.

"Ah, I guess that would make all the difference, wouldn't it?" He asked once he hung up the phone. He crossed his legs and settled back before he answered her question. "It wasn't that hard once I got the hang of the technology. Having some of the Argonauts here has helped me settle in more, though."

Peitho laughed. "Hm, I'm sure the other residents would have something to complain about," was her politically-neutral response. As he warned her to not listen, Peitho laughed again and stood up. "Very well," she responded and walked into the bathroom. She needed to change out of her work clothes anyway. She spent a little time changing into her sleep clothes and shrugging on the large and opposite-of-attractive bathrobe from the hotel on. She wasn't trying to seduce anyone tonight.

When she came back out, she caught the tail-end of a order for wine before he hung up. He then answered her question and nodded. "It must be nice having people you recognize from the old life here," she nodded. "I know very few and none of them seem to have arrived yet." She, of course, meant either of her husbands, her children or Aphrodite.

"Probably," Jason answered. He watched her come back, laughing to himself about the bathrobe. It was obvious she was trying to cover herself up, but her beauty shown through anyway. Not in a cliche way, but in that no matter how bulky the bathrobe was, her face was still beautiful.

"It is. If Orpheus hadn't been here originally with others of my crew coming soon after, I suspect I would have had a very different experience." He frowned and shook his head. "I'm sorry that that happened to you. But, at least you know some of us now."

Peitho took her seat on the edge of the bed again, this time made a little more uncomfortable by the itchy fabric and the bulkiness of the robe in general. She shrugged off Jason's apologies for the lack of people she knew from the life before and smiled. "Yes, I do know many of you now," she responded happily. And there was dear Theseus. Despite his many...other worries.

And Peitho knew of Jason from before. She had been there during his union with Medea. She and Aphrodite had been a part of it. She smirked a little as she remembered how that debacle ended. She pulled her robe tighter around her and wondered what else there was really to talk about. "How is your business doing?" she asked. It seemed like the default question these days.

"It's two hotels, so it's always doing fine. And what do you do for a living now?" Jason was genuinely curious, he had always imagined it was hard for the gods to adjust, no matter how much they were around mortals.

Hopefully Peitho wouldn't bring up Medea; she tended to put a damper on the conversation since people thought she should be a sore topic for him. He didn't think about it all that much, she would be dealt with next time he saw her.

Jason got up when he heard the knock for the food and he brought it in to Peitho. He handed her a glass of wine before he sat down again and took a sip of his own. "You get to uncover everything to find out the surprise."

Peitho laughed, "I stand corrected. Businesses, then. I'm an event planner...from engagements to weddings," she clarified. Her job was exciting and tedious all at the same time. It was fun but also took up so much of her time and energy.

She stood up when he went to answer the door and moved to the chaise. As much as she enjoyed eating in bed, she did not enjoy sleeping with the crumbs. Curling her feet underneath her again, she waited silently for the bellhop to bring it in, only to be surprised when Jason did it himself. She received the glass of wine with little surprise but much gratitude. "Surprise?" she laughed. She liked surprises. Well, pleasant ones.

"Well, that suites you amazingly well. Sometimes the apartment manager does a good job at assigning positions for us." Jason set the tray between the two of them on the coffee table and bowed to her like he had just preformed a trick.

"Yes, a surprise. Something I hope you find appealing." He settled back on the couch and took a sip of the wine. As he smiled and waited for her to uncover the food.

Peitho inclined her head. "Yes, my profession makes me very happy. I am glad I get to continue my duties in a smaller scale. The Apartment Manager did well for me and now I have an assistant to help with matters, which makes it easier on me~"

Leaning forward, Peitho started lifting tray covers, wondering what Jason had in store. She wasn't exactly a culinary adventurer (that was possibly more Hermes' style) but she wasn't adverse to new things either. She just hoped it wasn't steamed moose or something equally as revolting-sounding.
