So I have finally started packing. Yeah, I know, should have been done already since I was suppose to leave today, but oh well. My SIL is going to be in the hospital until at least Mon, which means that Bro can't meet us tomorrow. Dad already agreed to take me down there and my cousin agreed to ride with us so that Dad isn't driving home alone. The past few times he has made that trip he has almost fallen asleep, so we go out of our way to make sure he isn't making long distance drives by himself now. Picked up my DVR so excited! It'll be so nice once the shows start this fall as well, since I will be closing every other Thurs meaning I would only see every other epi of Supernatural. So not nice! Stopped by the liquor store and got the bottle of Jack and bottle of Vanilla vodka that we need for this weekend. T is picking up the Tarantula (tequila) and the few other things we need down there. It's gonna be one hell of a time Sat! Thankfully neither of us get hangovers, or she doesn't get bad ones anyways, so we will still be ready for Sun. This will be the first year that I get to celebrate my birthday the way I want to. I have always given in to my parents demands and spent my birthday at home, with them. But this year, I am spending it in Portland with friends, and going to see Kane, even though this was planned WAY before Kane started playing in Portland. It was planned even before they announced that they were going to be filming Leverage there. But Mom is down there watching my niece and nephew so Bro can be with SIL while she's in the hospital so I guess I will probably be seeing her at some point that day and I know Dad will be calling probably right after midnight, if I know him at all :) My dad can't stand that his baby girl is growing up. It'd almost be cute if it wasn't so damn annoying. I guess I should finish packing. I need to go unload the SD card and make sure the camera is charged back up from the fourth. Look for new pics next week! I will hopefully convince T to get closer to the stage than we were last time. She has discovered Grasshoppers so maybe all it will take is getting a few of those into her :D
