Doctor Who/Matt Smith&Karen Gillan spam post of awesome
Ok, Doctor Who is my obsession again. How can it not be? It's an amazing show in general, the new Doctor and Companion are awesome and they have chem like whoah and Matt Smith and Karen Gillan who play them have to be the most kooky, cute, funny duo ever.
I'm not shipping them. Karen has a boyf. But I still can't help but smile giddily every time I see them together, because they're either looking adorable or doing something dorky. <3
So...this is a spam post. It will be under a cut, never fear! But I can't not share them. They really are too cute for words. Biiiiiig thanks to wuhdemah for sorting out the format, 'cause me and LJ do -not- get on XD <3

Name: The Doctor
Age: 906
Species: Time Lord
Occupation: Time Traveller
The Doctor has the ability to regenerate himself after receiving a fatal injury. So far, he has regenerated eleven times. His real name is not known. He comes from the planet Gallifrey, which was destroyed during the Great Time War between the Time Lords and the Daleks. Over the years, he has developed a fondness for the people of Earth, often travelling with humans, notably female 'companions', using the TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimension In Space).
Name: Matt Smith
Age: 27
Bio: Matt was training to be a professional footballer, but a back injury meant he turned to acting instead. He starred in The Ruby In The Smoke (alongside Billie Piper - the Ninth and Tenth Doctor's Companion) and Party Animals before taking on the role of the Doctor. He is the youngest person to play the Doctor since it began in 1963.
Name: Amelia (Amy) Jessica Pond
Age: 21
Species: Human
Occupation: Kissogram, the Doctor's travelling companion
Amy Pond first meets the Doctor when she is seven, after he has just regenerated. He promises to take her travelling with him, but then disappears, only to reappear in her life twelve years later to save the world. Two years after that, he returns again and asks her to travel him, which she does. She comes from the village of Leadworth (although originally from Scotland), lives with her Aunt, and is an orphan.
Name: Karen Gillan
Age: 22
Bio: She trained at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, and pursued a modelling career when she was not acting. She also starred in an older episode of Doctor Who, The Fires of Pompeii.

(On the audition process) "We’d seen about seven or eight people, and then as soon as Karen walked in we were like: ‘Yes! Got her.’”
“We’ve grown closer every day. I’m quite fond of her, actually, it has to be said.”
(On filming 'The Beast Below') “It was so fun! Me and Matt were just messing around most of the time, throwing cabbage at each other.”
“We went through the sort of, milestones together. The first read through, our first day on set, then we got our first block finished. We’ve had these really huge things in life that we’re sharing.”
“Karen brings so much of herself to the role of Amy; all that mad, kooky energy that she has in her life. Just Karen-ness, Karen madness.”
