Horror Hotel
I am going to be going to San Francisco for my birthday this year. This is a complete change of plans from the original. Originally, I was just going to be spending in down here in San Diego. My mother, my grandmother and my sister were planning on flying / driving down here to be with me on my big day (I am turning 28...EEK!!!) I would only need to take two days off of work, and they would both be paid...time here would have been accrued I guess. I would attend my 10 Year Reunion in Mammoth that Saturday as well. It was a plan. Well, now the plan has gone cappoot. See, my sister is going to be starting a new job the week of my birthday. She will not be able to take the time off of work to come down here and visit with me (even though she owes me a trip because she missed my graduation...but whatever). And I really want to see my sister. I haven't seen her since my father's service, and that wasn't really the happiest of times. So, I decided that we should all just go up there. I am sick of San Diego anyway. So, a change of scenery will be nice. At least that is what I am hoping. But, now that this plan has come into play, my grandmother has decided that she might not go with us. It's too far for her or something...and he has my uncle coming in for 4th of July weekend and wants to get her house ready for that part of her family. Which, I understand. It might even be easier going without my grandmother. I love her to death...but she can be trying at times. But now Mark isn't sure whether he will be able to go or not either. He might have to work during that time. So, it just might be me and my mom. Which, is great as well. It would just be a girls trip. But, how am I going to make it anywhere if he does not drive? My mom can't really pick me up down here...I would have to find a way up there first. So...things have gotten pretty complicated. And now I just want to stay at home like the original plan entailed. :( Not really...I am just unhappy and really wanted everyone together.
