These nightmares in my head
They never leave me to myself
Yet I am always on my own

My mind knows no peace
or even the paths to find it
I pray for things to change
Always waking to find its all the same

I'm trying to stand on my own
I'm dying to stand on my feet
All the while we keep taking turns
You knock me down, I knock me down

And maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm confused
But I'd bet on my life, you're the one who'll lose
I may not know where this road will go
