God I'm depressed...
Well, no I'm not, well I am but I'm not. Damn, this dichotomy thing is turning out to be a mindfuck, who'da thunk...?
I went out tonight, on my ownsome, this is not the depressing thing, going out on my own is not a big deal, it's actually kinda nice to be able to have a pint and feck off when you feel like it. No, not depressing.
The depressing thing was all the small town fucking yokels doing the rounds. It's like, I had a whole bunch of local girls eyeing me up which you think would be cool, except I already know they can't handle me and they so did prove it. So anyway, had a pint at me old local and then wandered up the road where a local indie-rock band were putting on an outdoor concert, that was cool, enjoyed that lots. I thoroughly and heartily reccomend "The Pennysows" and suggest you all find their music wheresoever you can. That was great, loved their music and their style. So, they finished and I slipped back down the pub for a nightcap before sodding off home and oh. Sweet. Jesus.
I decided to go and have a pint, in the vain hope somebody with a brain cell would be round to talk to. So, I ended up sat in a corner, slurping my tasty tasty pint and trying to avoid the eyes piercing my way but sadly, I couldn't avoid the bad haircut sitting to my left who wandered over and said "I just noticed you drank your pint, would you like to buy me a drink while you're at the bar?"
Surprisingly I answered "No, but you can buy me one while YOU'RE at the bar if you like." and she actually stared at me, for an uncomfortable amount of seconds with her gob hanging open. Really, you've never heard that one before? OK. Then she started whining at me, I'd love to relate what she said but frankly, I'd got bored and so stood up and just left.
God I hate small towns. I'm going out somewhere else next time, or possibly not a night when the fair is in town, seems to bring the utter morons out.
