I've seen about 6 games of the Cup myself - this year seems to be much more boring than the last Cup so I'm not as into it as much. I'm clearing away everything for the rest of the afternoon, put the baby down for a nap early so she'll be in a good playful mood this afternoon just so that I can be witness to the brutal beating that we'll be getting from Italy today.

I don't think you're less for waiting until the group play is over. Once all the crap teams are cleared out it gets really good and hopefully it'll get interesting.
I miss the ocean. I only lived opn the coast for 1 year, but it grows on you, calls to you until you have to give up and go back. Of course the coast of Oregon is nothing like the English or Welsh coasts, but it's the closest we have here, made more evident by the amount of English, Irish Scots and Welsh who I met when I was there. Sundays are very good days for walks and it'll be nice for you to get out.
Can't argue with a point in hand. It's still possible for you to qualify you know, if you beat Ghana by 5 and Italy and the Czechs draw at 0-0, USA go through.
The way Italy is playing, it's somewhere in the realms of possibility...
