burn it up...girl, make it hot like the roof is on fire
I really needed today. Much fun was had, and I forgot the semi-slump I had been in the past couple of days...or at least the past day. I think that I was just stressed out over school, and the weather was shitty, which always has a negative effect on my mood.
The concert turned out to be great, as expected! Unfortunately, we got there a bit early. We had thought we were going to be late, too. We had to endure Alkaline Trio's set. I really did not like them. I'm sure if I heard their CD, I'd appreciate their live show more, but I never have and was just so anxious for MCR to come on!! I got to meet two of Ashley's friends who were awesome! Shavon and I went down to the lower level to see MCR, while Ruby and Ashley stayed upstairs. I got to crowd surf for the first time ever!! Unfortunately, I ended up landing in the most pit!! I thought it was funny as hell, but was a little scared, at the time, that people would land on me. At least 3 dudes fell, but not on me, thank god. It was so hot and sweaty, and I was so majorly dehydrated that I left to go sit in the bleachers half way through the set. I was afraid that I'd pass out and cause a scene in the pit.
We ended up not going to Sonar since we were tired, hungry, and many other things lol.
