The concept of blogging is something that has fascinated me : a sort of diary where you give your opinion and people listen to you and reply.
Yet every blog I've ever started has failed. Believe it or not it wasn't from a lack of readership; I did know how to get readers when I tried. My problem wasn't a lack of ideas either. I have loads of ideas and thoughts that could make great blog posts.
No, my issues were that a blog has to be constantly updated about your topic, and of course actually writing down your thoughts.
Like I just mentioned, I'm rarely short on topics for blog posts. However, those ideas are in my head; I've "dialogue"d with them and grown to them and pretty much beaten them to death - in my head. Once it gets to actually writing them down, I just don't want to anymore.
So because of this, I don't usually have constant posts and thus lose the readers that I did manage to get. Eventually all of my blogs die simply from me not updating them. It's sad really, that a person with so much to say is just too lazy to write her thoughts down.
PS. Why am I thinking about this now? That movie Julie and Julia made me think about it.
