.... being able to zombie shamble down the street of a major metropolitan area without fear of arrest:

saintbryan's latest entry

In New Orleans, the cops would have beat the crap out of him for getting out of line and tossed him the Orleans Parish jail.

And in Toronto, the zombies do as they're told.

He's so alive for a zombie, eh? belugadogzebra October 23 2006, 18:46:41 UTC
I was just thinking, how Beatles to say everything backwards...

and then was laughing at the wonderful costume.. Yes, like it, imaginative. He looks like a zombie doll. I like the layered internal view under the outer smock; the severed hands.

And how is it I missed Zombie Day on my calendar? :)

As for the cops being so accommodating and herding the zombies back into line, I'm still oddly shaking my head about that one. Kind of deflates the balloon of protest, doesn't it?
Glad your darling didn't get into any trouble.

You've got the shuffle down perfect, too!

It's the image of him going off on his own, by himself with no one else around and staying in character, talking backwards to himself, that cracks me up. That and saying, "oh, ok," to the cop in a zombie moan. That's comedy and it's so Bryan.

Can you tell I don't play video games? belugadogzebra October 24 2006, 02:24:48 UTC
So I just casually mention to j.e. he should check out your son's great zombie costume and link him to the picture and he sez "Oh cool, it's a headcrab zombie."

"A WHAT?" So I'm directed to wikipedia, where everything that is anything to somebody is described there.

Here in all scientific accuracy, and with pictures (but mind you these things are fictional...from a video game) is everything you ever wanted to know about headcrabs. Well, I really didn't need to know they are frequently called headhumpers...but oh well, there's another piece of clutter down the braino.

Personally, I think his Red Robot in the Krewe de Noir at his first and last Mardis Gras in 2005 was by far the cuter of the two characters, but if it has to be zombie specific, this isn't bad. I'm going to bet he was the only headcrab zombie in Toronto, and only males of a certain age would know it. Everyone else would just look at it and say, "Wow, that's kinda weird. Original, but weird."
