(no subject)
Yup. So it's been a crazy couple of days. Work was dull as always. New dish-washers? There's a shocker. And this one's 42. Me and Alyssa are less than thrilled.
Ben came home for the weekend which was, as expected, a very happy surprise. :) Fortunately, his grandpa came up with a little mission for us.
Pond building! as you can imagine, in the 95+ degree weather, it wasn't a whole boatload of fun...but we did our best. We had to pick up the liner and "pond kit" at Rocky's and then went back to Longmeadow to begin construction. As of 3:00 yesterday afternoon, it was finished and we made a quick trip to the fish store to purchase the pond's very first resident, Nemo.
I've been spending a lot of time by the pool recently, too. My tan has finally emerged in its typical Italian glory and I no longer feel albino. Yes! It's really relaxing. Kinda hard to believe that come Saturday (moving day!), it won't be mine anymore. I suppose it's good to go out with a bang though, right?
And that concludes this entry. Dad has warned me that at promptly 8:00 tomorrow morning, he will come a'knocking and we will begin our fulll day of orangization at the new house. The garage needs to be cleaned and everything moved elsewhere throughout the house. Any abled bodied friends are welcomed to stop by and help? :D More to come if I survive heat stroke.
