I just watched Kuroshitsuji episode 12.
My comments are...
SO... how do I put it...
I wasn't actually surprised because me and my (lurker) friends were joking a few months ago that she doesn't want the story to end with Ciel's soul getting eaten (a SebaCiel shipper). So I joked that either someone messes with the contract or Ciel becomes a demon and we laughed at it.
http://angelskully.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2jipxe<--- and then I found this eons ago and I'm thinking now, all we need to do is change Sebby's smile into a frown lol.
BUT the thing is... I expected it to end like this (jokingly) BUT NEVER THOUGHT THEY'D DO IT FOR REAL.
Also, I didn't like Claude nor Alois much, but I felt sorry for Alois. Lucky for him he disappeared nicely... with sparklies.*__*
Claude died too easily.-_- But I think I liked how the animators drew him here.
I was hoping for an epic real-form showdown... But I guess Yana-sensei is saving the real form for the manga alone.
*still torn*
And what would a season 3 contain? The adventures of Ciel the demon and his demon butler Sebastian? But they eloped I mean left everyone already and made everyone think Ciel is dead right? Or maybe new characters? And then someone will make a contract with Ciel and the cycle goes on... and on...

Taken from the questionnaire in LJ.
- Do you like that it took almost no elements, outside of characters, from the original manga, whereas the first season tried for like five episodes before hopping on the crazy train?
I enjoyed the spontaneity. Because nothing was predictable in this season (except the ending lol). The first season IMO was trying to put in a lot of filler ep. This just drove straight home in one fell swoop.
- Do you accept it, or think it's more of a fun AU side story?
I think it's more of an AU.:D Which makes it more fun because we won't be saddled to only one canon ending.
- What were your favorite moments? Least?
I love ALL the GRELL moments.:D
- What is your opinion on the animation? Is it's generally shoddy quality excusable?
Coming from the animation industry, I think it's just properly done according to the style. It could've been animated much much more elaborately, but it would lose the Kuro touch or it would be an OAV or movie if they made it into a 4-5 toned, per strand fluidity animation. So to me, it's just fine and simple.^^
BONUS QUESTION:
- Do you think this could lead to a third season? And if so, would you want it to? What would you like to see?
I highly doubt that a 3rd season will suffice because if so, what would it entail? If it will have anything in it...
I would like to see all of the Shinigamis' pasts.
ON A DIFFERENT NOTE...
It's awfully nice of Sebastian to set a table (and chairs) and prepare tea for the shinigamis in the middle of the street.
That about sums it all.:D
-------
AS MUCH as I'd like to rant how much I didn't like the ending of this season, I must also take into consideration that these were all planned and of course, the Yana-sensei and the animation peeps have a good reason for making it end this way and I respect their decision and their hard work.
I'll be looking forward to more animation.:D Especially the OAVs.
For now, I'll have the manga to treat as canon.:D

One week to go before cosplay day.:D (hence the hiatus).
I promise I'll make art again after this.
I must turn this anxiety into excitement somehow.
That's why I'm trying to relax this week. And avoid thinking too much about the performance.:3
Good luck to us,
silentside Gambatte!
