is it so hard to believe?
cyberspace is flooded with heartbreak. a big chunk of peoples use of the internet is to fulfill some need to belong, to feel loved, to feel...anything. expressions of a love lost are abundant. the internet becomes a dumping ground for romantics.
i re-discovered today how to negatively use the word romantic. by making it an verb. "romanticized" seems to a word used to describe disillusioned thoughts. i don't think i have ever heard this word used to illuminate an idea. the idea that an idea has been fluffed up, disfigured, dis-enchanted, and diluted. romanticize, to murder an idea and continue to play with it.
