Qualifying Round - Sunday, 11th of February, 2007 - 1pm

NORTHERN PLAYERS - Tunza Fun, Elizabeth Shopping Centre
SOUTHERN PLAYERS - Intencity, Westfield Marion

• Qualifying will take place simultaneously in the deep North (Elizabeth) and deep South (Marion), and will test the skills of each region’s best players

• Each entrant will play a pre-selected Qualification song (which will be announced one week prior to Qualification Day on www.adelaidearcadegaming.com)

• The score will then be recorded and used to rank players, and then seed them into the Finals

• Both qualifying venues will use Dancing Stage SuperNOVA

• Important - If you can not make it to your chosen Qualifying venue on Qualifying Day, please send a Private Message to arcadeoforigin on the AdelaideArcadeGaming.com forums. While we may be able to run a qualifier for you in the days leading up to the finals, there is no guarantee. This is to be used in extreme cases only!

Finals - Sunday, 18th of February, 2007 - 1pm SHARP - Tunza Fun, Tea Tree Plaza

• Finals will be held on Tunza’s famous In The Groove 2/DDR machine
• 16-Player Knockout; The best 8 from each region going head to head!

The Top 8 competitors from each region will go through to a 16-player Knockout tournament, to be held at the spiritual home of DDR in Adelaide, Tunza Fun TTP. Songs will be available from a custom folder hand-picked by AdelaideArcadeGaming.com, including a blend of In The Groove songs, songs from the latest incarnation of Dance Dance Revolution; SuperNOVA, as well as a nice helping of DDR classics, obscurities, hilarities and for those who have had their Weet-Bix…custom edits.

Please feel free to comment any questions you may have. I encourage everyone who plays DDR to enter. Even if you don't think you're good enough, if this competition goes well then there will more than likely be another one in a few months that will exclude the best players (ie the ones who can pass 10+'s) from entering your level which makes it heaps more fair for people who can only pass 7s and 8s etc.
