VACATION!
winter vacation is finally here and it's like a dream to just relax and sleep. So far its been quite a lovely holiday from school and life but i know it'll be over soon and i'll revert back to normalcy unfortunately.
just a "brief" recap of what i can remember anyways:
friday: after the half day of nothingness and not being in class, i went to elana's and me, her, and kim sam watched house m.d. for hours. i love that show! its amazing!
saturday: i didn't have work thank god so i went last minute shopping with my mom and then wrapped presents and went my mimi's for christmas eve. dinner. It was nice to see everyone and eat some great food.
sunday: aka CHRISTMAS! i went to elana's in the afternoon since i am the asian jew after all hehehe. we watched more house of course and just had a great time. when amanda left i went home and had dinner and then went back to keep elana company from the festivities. instead of joining in the celebration we corrected my common app essay and then watched house.
monday: i went shopping with my mom and got jeans, a scarf and leg warmers from the gap and a new bag from new york and company. then i continued my english essay from hell went to dinner and had sushi then went back to my essay until like 3 am.
tuesday aka TRILOGY TUESDAY!: i went to elana's once again and her, me, katie liptak and amanda watched all three extended lord of the rings. this really reinstated my love for the trilogy and every little aspect of it. We started at 2 pm and including all the breaks we took we ended at 4 in the morning. By then i was quite irritable and tired but we did it! god i LOVE those movies!
wednesday: After staying up til 4 i had no choice but to get up at 8:30 to go into the city. That didn't quite put me in a good mood but it was okay in the end. First we went shopping and got my brother a whole bunch of new clothes and i got a shirt in forever 21. Then we went to chinatown and got lunch, looked around, then got bubble tea. after that we went to rockefeller center which was a mob scene and i refuse to go there again during christmas. It was pretty and all but too much trouble was a couple of nice pictures. By then we were beat and so we went to penn station and went home.
thursday: yesterday i went shopping again and got cords from delias, a new thing of burts bees from bath & body works, and cute underwear from american eagle. Then i went to yoga with my mom which i'm going to attempt to commit to at least for a little while.
today: today is a semi working day. basically i need to get at least a rough draft of my boston university essay done and then look at the dbq for history.
ugh. vacation is never long enough! in any case HAPPY NEW YEAR! in two days anyways...
