To all of Luceti, this is Captain Alexei speaking. I'm sure some of you have spotted a strange beasts that has appeared around our village, most likely breached the barrier to arrive here. From my own observation they seem to be looking for something and won't show aggression unless approached. So please don't engage these creatures unnecessarily. ( Read more... )

[He nods in greeting with a small smile and enters.]

Thank you for your hospitality. [When he was offered a seat, he went and basically collapsed onto it and just lets out a long tired sigh. He really needs this break right now]

[He takes a few minutes to make the tea in his kitchen until he's at last finished, bringing it out on a tray with some cookies that have a raspberry filling. Setting the tray down on the coffee table, he himself takes a seat.] May I inquire as to what exactly is causing you to become so worn out?

Heh. It's not that difficult to see what. We've had two shifts one right after the other and then festival inbetween them. If I'm not fighting the Third Party, it's Shifts and personal problems.

[He glances at the tray Frederic had brought with him.]

And I feel...as if there is something we're not seeing from all of this.

[He folds his hands, looking thoughtful]

I may just be thinking too much into the situation, but I feel as if there's a connection between this shift and the previous one. They both happen so close to one another and at a glance, don't seem to have any relation to one another.

The first, as you recall was when we awoke in different locations. Some of us were spared from the Shift, but most of us ended up being relocated without any memory of being moved.

[He pauses, making sure Frederic was following him]

[He does follow Alexei by nodding then takes his cup of tea to drink it, only to then set it back down after drinking.]

Hmmm interesting. I was one of the few spared of the Shift problems, but I can see how it is a problem for others who were not.

Now we look at the second shift. People have been having dreams in which they had another life, someplace different from here. Some reported that they felt more than just dreams, almost as if they were mere memories...some have even had dreams of this village, except circumstances seem different here.

Interestingly, these dreams here, they never the first thing everyone dreams of. They all dreamed of being in another world first. It's as if everyone that are having these dreams are watching some kind of historical reel through their minds.

[He glances down at his tea, deciding to break for a moment to drink from the cup]
