To all of Luceti, this is Captain Alexei speaking. I'm sure some of you have spotted a strange beasts that has appeared around our village, most likely breached the barrier to arrive here. From my own observation they seem to be looking for something and won't show aggression unless approached. So please don't engage these creatures unnecessarily.

I've gotten much the same impression from these things.

Whatever they're after, they obviously haven't found it.

...and if it helps, a lot of people are having especially vivid dreams, at the moment.

If it's not to hunt us, then what could they possibly be searching for? That is the question.

Some of us get their attention more easily than others. They haven't paid me much attention unless I throw a rock at them, even though I've spent most of the day recording them.

Dreams that felt very real, yes. And I have, and it's Giles. Nice to meet you, even if it is under unfortunate circumstances.

I don't know if there is a possible connection between the two, but say they're targeting those that aren't having these dreams. These "vivid dreams" didn't start until a day before the creatures appeared and their thought pattern leaves us with the impression that they're looking for something specific.

That's why I asked, if you've been having them.

They're certainly look for something specific. As for the dreams...I don't know how they'd be able to tell whether we're having them or not. Unless they can smell just how little sleep everyone's getting.

We don't know anything about them to begin with besides there's some intellect behind their movement. It's simply just a possibility.

We know they're bloody fast and not terribly violent at the moment. That counts for something as well.

But as for why they're here? Haven't the foggiest.

Since they don't show much interest in us, I suppose we could always hope they get tired of searching here and find a way out of the village the same way they came in.
